Foundry - Facilities
• The Dedini Foundry is located at KM 26.5 of the Highway “Rodovia Piracicaba-Rio Claro”, in Piracicaba/SP.
• There are 05 industrial sheds and a model deposit in a total area of 158,000 m2 and built up area of 18,800 m2

 

Its main items of equipment are as follows:
• 02 furnaces from fusion to induction ( 1/1 t and 3.5/6 t) and 02 electric arc furnaces ( 12 and 38 t), which allow up to 57 t of liquid metal to be poured simultaneously.
• 07 Heat Treatment ovens, with a capacity of up to 100t/load (10m x 8m x 6m).
• New sand reception system with storage silos of 80t and mechanical sand recovery center with a capacity of 10t/h and storage of up to 1,350 t of recovered sand.

Magma
• For continuous improvement of the process, it has Magma software, which enables the safe and economic development of the casting process.

Technical Capability
• The manual molding system, by the cold cure process.
• Installed Capacity : 27,000 t/year in parts and 60,000 t/year of liquid metal.
• Heat Treatments performed: Tempering, Normalization and Processing in oil and water.
• It is qualified to produce cast parts accordingly with drawings, and is able to meet the following requirements:

Quality
• Qualified by the STANDARD ISO 9000 / 2000 through Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited, since December, 1996.
• Has physical and chemical laboratories, with equipment for Tensile, Impact, Hardness, Micrography, Ultrasound, Magnetic Particle, Optic Emission Spectrometry, and LECO Carbon Analyzer tests.
